Probity
Integrity is the quiet engine behind every story we tell and every partnership we build.
Probity is where purpose meets principle – where governance, safeguarding, and strategy come together to serve our goals.
This section opens the pages behind our impact – transparent, accountable, and rooted in respect for every learner and partner we serve.
1. Finances
This manual outlines the Camden Education Trust’s financial management framework, ensuring transparency, accountability, and sound governance in all operations. It defines the policies, procedures, and responsibilities that guide our financial decisions, safeguard resources, and maintain compliance with best practice and regulatory standards.
2. Safeguarding
Rooted in the Children First Act 2015, this statement sets out how Camden Education Trust protects the safety and wellbeing of every child involved in our programmes, upholding the highest standards of care, responsibility, and trust.
3. Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
This policy affirms Camden Education Trust’s commitment to fairness, belonging, and representation across all areas of our work – ensuring that every voice is heard, valued, and empowered to contribute to a more inclusive learning community.
4. Ethical Communications
Camden Education Trust’s communications align with the Dóchas Code of Conduct on Images and Messages, guided by respect, equality, solidarity, and justice. Our storytelling elevates beneficiaries – educators and young innovators – highlighting their real-world impact as agents of change. Each post contributes to a virtuous circle of education, where skills fuel talent and knowledge powers inclusion.
Images of young people featured in our WRO Winners series are captured within the context of a public, international education competition where participants are already publicly celebrated. All visual and written materials are shared with informed consent and parental approval, in line with GDPR and child-protection standards.
We communicate with communities – not about them – turning every message into a shared lesson in dignity, inclusion, and hope. Our communications centre on LinkedIn, used not for promotion but for professional learning – enabling educators to showcase impact, exchange practices, and inspire wider communities of teachers across Africa and beyond.
Every post is reviewed against the Dóchas principles and the Do No Harm standard, with clear feedback and amendment channels in place to ensure accountability.
